At BergStay.in, we strive for hassle-free hill stays and hotel bookings. Since our services involve accommodations (not physical goods), “returns” refer to cancellations. This policy outlines refunds for bookings made through our platform.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are available only if:

  • Cancellation is within the hotel’s policy window (displayed at booking, e.g., 48 hours prior).

  • Booking not yet confirmed or started (pre-check-in).

  • BergStay or hotel faults (e.g., overbooking, major discrepancies).

No refunds for no-shows, early check-outs, or dissatisfaction with stay quality.

Cancellation Process

  1. Log in to your account or contact us via WhatsApp/email.

  2. Request cancellation with booking ID.

  3. We’ll process per hotel policy.

Refund Timeline and Fees

  • Free Cancellation: Full refund (minus payment gateway fees ~2-3%) if within window.

  • Partial/No Refund: After window or no-show (e.g., 50% or 0%).

  • Processing: 7-14 business days to original method.

  • Hill-specific: Weather/monsoon delays non-refundable unless force majeure.

Non-Refundable Bookings

Promotional/non-refundable rates are final—no cancellations.
